2. What personal data do we process?

The personal data we process depends on how you use the website and what information you choose to provide to us.

When you contact us through the website's contact form, we may process information such as:

  • first name and surname
  • email address
  • telephone number
  • information about the service or work you are interested in
  • information that you choose to provide in the message field.

Please do not provide sensitive personal data or other personal information that is not necessary for us to handle your enquiry.

3. Contact form and enquiries

When you use our contact form, we process the personal data you provide so that we can receive and respond to your enquiry.

The information may be used to:

  • respond to questions and messages
  • contact you regarding your enquiry
  • provide information about our services
  • handle enquiries relating to tyres, servicing or other work
  • prepare for or carry out work or services that you have requested.

The legal basis for this processing is primarily that it is necessary in order to take steps at your request before entering into a possible contract or to perform a contract with you.

In other cases, the processing may be based on our legitimate interest in being able to receive, administer and respond to messages and enquiries sent to our business.

4. How long do we keep personal data?

Data submitted via the contact form may be stored in the website's database to enable us to administer and follow up on requests.

We do not retain personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

Information contained in ordinary contact enquiries is deleted when the matter has been concluded and the information is no longer required.

If the contact results in a customer relationship or work being carried out, certain information may need to be retained for longer in order to administer the customer relationship, handle warranty or complaint matters, or comply with legal obligations.

Information that must be retained by law, such as certain accounting information, is kept for the period required by applicable legislation.

5. Website analytics – Matomo

We use Matomo to obtain general statistics about how the website is used and to help us improve the website's content and functionality.

Matomo is installed on a server that we control ourselves and is configured to operate without analytics cookies.

IP addresses are anonymised. Matomo is also configured to use the anonymised IP address when geographic information is determined.

Detailed raw data from Matomo is automatically deleted after 180 days. Aggregated statistics may be retained for longer so that we can compare website usage over time.

Matomo is only activated after you have explicitly approved the Analytics category in the website's cookie settings.

If you do not approve Analytics, Matomo will not be loaded by the website's Matomo code.

6. Google Maps

The website uses Google Maps to display our geographical location and a map.

Google Maps is an external service provided by Google. When the service is activated, information such as your IP address and information about your browser may be transferred to Google. Google may also use cookies or similar technologies in accordance with its own terms and privacy rules.

Google Maps is therefore blocked by default and is only loaded after you have approved the Functional cookies category in our cookie settings.

If you do not give your consent, the map will not be displayed, but you can still use the other parts of the website.

More information about how Google processes personal data can be found in Google's Privacy Policy.

7. Cookies and consent

We use NexusConsent to manage your choices regarding cookies, analytics and external services.

Your choices are stored in the necessary cookie nxc_prefs for up to 180 days.

You can open the website's cookie settings at any time to change or withdraw previously given consent.

More detailed information can be found in our Cookie Policy.

8. Who may have access to your personal data?

We do not sell your personal data or disclose it to other companies for their own direct marketing purposes.

Personal data may be processed by service providers that help us operate the website, email services or other IT services when this is necessary for our business.

When a service provider processes personal data on our behalf, the processing must be carried out in accordance with applicable data protection rules and the agreements and instructions governing the processing.

Personal data may also be disclosed if we are required to do so by law, a decision by a public authority or another legal obligation.

9. Transfers of personal data outside the EU/EEA

Certain external services, such as Google Maps, are provided by international companies. The use of such services may mean that personal data is processed or made available outside the EU/EEA.

Google Maps is therefore only activated after you have given your consent to the relevant category.
