4. Website analytics – Matomo
We use Matomo to obtain general statistics about how the website is used. This information helps us understand which pages are visited and how the website can be improved.
Matomo is installed on a server that we control ourselves and is configured to operate without analytics cookies. Matomo therefore does not create the usual _pk_id or _pk_ses cookies that may otherwise be used by Matomo.
IP addresses are anonymised. Matomo is also configured to use the anonymised IP address when geographic information is determined.
Detailed raw data from Matomo is automatically deleted after 180 days. Aggregated statistics may be retained for longer so that we can compare website usage over time.
Although Matomo is configured without analytics cookies, Matomo is only activated after you have explicitly approved the Analytics category in our cookie settings.
If you do not approve Analytics, Matomo will not be loaded by the website's Matomo code.
5. Google Maps
The website uses Google Maps to display our geographical location and a map.
Google Maps is an external service provided by Google. When the service is activated, information such as your IP address and information about your browser may be transferred to Google. Google may also use cookies or similar technologies in accordance with its own terms and privacy rules.
For this reason, Google Maps is blocked by default on our website.
The map is only loaded after you have approved the Functional cookies category in the cookie settings.
If you do not give your consent, you can still use the rest of the website, but the Google Maps map will not be displayed.

6. Changing or withdrawing consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time.
Use the cookie settings button on the website to open the settings again. There you can enable or disable the optional categories.
When you withdraw consent for Analytics, Matomo will stop loading. Because our Matomo configuration is cookieless, no Matomo analytics cookies are created on your device.
If you withdraw consent for Functional cookies, Google Maps will be blocked and the map will not be displayed.
7. Cookies in your browser
You can also use your browser settings to view, block or delete cookies.
If you block all cookies, some features of the website may work less effectively. However, the website's basic content should still remain available.

We may update this Cookie Policy if the website's functions, external services or applicable rules change.
